Certification adds to PubNub’s comprehensive security practices
August 22, 2017 - PubNub, the company behind the world’s leading realtime Data Stream Network (DSN), today announced that it has successfully completed the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 1 audit conducted by Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP. This, in addition to a long list of comprehensive security practices, provides customers with confidence in how PubNub manages their realtime data across the globe.
As companies increasingly use outside vendors to perform activities that are core to their business operations and strategy, there is a need for more trust and transparency into cloud software providers’ operations, processes and results. PubNub received its SOC 2, Type 1 certification from the AICPA for meeting the security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy standards established by its Service Organization Controls (SOC).
